On 18.06.2015 Tallinn will host a Conference of the Senior Labour Inspectors Committee (SLIC)

Since March 2014 the Labour Inspectorate of  Estonia conducted a target inspection activity in the course of which inspectors monitored 176 enterprises (in the field of activities covered by the campaign), as well as 243 institutions in the public sector. The Labour Inspectorate inspects companies of wood and furniture industry in the Lääne-Viru and Jõgeva Counties.

"Based on the infringements of safety at work identified by labour inspectors in 2014, our inspection priorities concern enterprises of metal and wood industries, trade and catering, construction companies and transport and storage companies this year" explained Apo Oja, Deputy Director General of the Labour Inspectorate in the field of work environment and development. The target inspection on 19 March focuses on inspection of companies of wood and furniture industry in the Lääne-Viru and Jõgeva Counties. The inspectors have planned to inspect at least 20 companies in the region....
